Dental Insurance:
After health insurance, dental insurance is the second most sought after benefit. Dental insurance is offered by dozens of insurance companies, with all of them having different plans, level of service, claims, and online capabilities.
Dental insurance is not a commodity. I saw it treated this way in my former role as a marketing representative. Dental insurance is expected by many prospective employees and being informed of what features and benefits are available is important. We pride ourselves on knowing the features and benefits available and do not treat it as a commodity.
Group Life Insurance:
Like dental insurance, group life insurance has many different companies to choose from. We will inform you on financial strengths and give you unbiased information so that you can make an informed decision.
Disability Insurance:
Almost everyone has car insurance, home owner's insurance and life insurance. Why would you not have insurance to protect your income? 1 in 4 people will be disabled for more than 6 months before the age of 36. Disability insurance is important! Understanding the contract differences on long-term and short-term disability policies is critical to making an educated decision on what company to choose. There are many differences from one contract to the next, and we will make sure you understand any limitations that may exist in the contract.
Vision Insurance:
Vision insurance is requested more and more often. Having an annual eye exam often is the first indicator that some health issues exist. High blood pressure, high cholesterol, diabetes, along with many other diseases, can be detected early through an eye exam. Early detection is critical to treating these diseases effectively.
There are several companies that offer vision plans. Some are discounts while others offer complete coverage for glasses and contacts. I am an advocate for getting an annual eye exam and the statistics show that people are 3 times as likely to go to the eye doctor if they have a vision plan.
